Sunshine, crimson, and last full show.

Three blessings for Monday, August 8.

1. After weeks of nonstop rain and deadly storms, the world is awash in brilliant sunshine. On my way to work, I hum:

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You’ll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don’t take my sunshine away

2. I get a lot of “Happy birthday!” comments because of my dress, sandals and bag. Guess what my favorite color is?

3. My Ian stays way past his very early bedtime to watch Captain America with me. Work stress and spats fade in the magic of the cinema.

4. And my quiet time verse:

3 Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
