		<description>it's been 28 (!) long years since i attended kc (hehe). i still remember vividly the old wooden cottages, the long walks to the cabins on starless nights (with glimmering flashlights to help us grope through the dark), the piles of dishes to wash, the early morning wake up calls, the sunrise which was so glorious to watch, etc..

there were no electricity in that part of the mountain, which was at the foot of mt. kanlaon.  no cellphones yet so we were totally incommunicado with the rest of the outside world.

it was a part of my christian experience which would linger on as long as i live...

i'm glad to have become part of it...</description>
